Warehouse Project History

The first chapter of the Warehouse Project History was written three years ago. In September 2006, the Boddington’s Brewery on the outskirts of Manchester city centre, was about to close down. For twelve weeks, it was transformed from a bitter drinker’s paradise to a clubber’s nirvana, hosting DJs from varying dance genres including techno, indie, dubstep and drum’n’bass.

Despite its success going down in Warehouse Project history, a quiet period in Warehouse Project history followed (bar one-off weekenders in the disused bomb shelter on Store Street). But in September 2007, organisers decided that for another twelve weeks they would create more Warehouse Project History, by hosting The Warehouse Project every weekend in the car park underneath Manchester Piccadilly station.

Success For Warehouse Project History

Warehouse Project history is developing all the time. The Warehouse Project’s original venue at Boddington’s Brewery was based around a warehouse rave, and will always have a place in Warehouse Project history, but organisers decided to move to the Store Street venue for a more intimate club vibe that has become an intrinsic part of Warehouse Project history. Subsequent Warehouse Project history has seen parties from nationally and internationally-renowned DJs and artists.

The final event of the Warehouse Project’s four-week run happens on New Year’s Day – what better way to say farewell to the memories cemented in Warehouse Project history by holding a party on one of the most celebrated days of the year?

The Future Of Warehouse Project History

The Warehouse Project weekenders remain and this Easter, more Warehouse Project history will be made with four parties planned for the bank holiday weekend: the Bank Holiday Warehouse Special,
Goodgreef, Cocoon and Day & Night on Store Street.
